We're Painting the Roses Red!

We're painting the roses red!

We're painting the roses red . . .

Okay, so we're not.

But Carmella is making an evergreen bloom.
She deemed its plain greenness unworthy.

Why be green when you can be green with pretty pink and white azalea flowers?

Sigh, if only she had Gregor Mendel as a playmate. Think of the fun the two of them would have. They could make hybrids that are not only useful, but pretty too.

Too bad he is dead.

With my kids? Everyday I get to be Alice and play in Wonderland.

We're painting the roses red, we're making the evergreens bloom, we're painting the roses red, we're making the evergreens bloom, pretty, pretty, pretty is as pretty does, da da da da da. . .
